VIV Expo Pavilion to be held in Iran during Feb 2014
VNU Exhibitions Europe, an organiser of animal farming trade shows, will hold the VIV Expo Pavilion in Iran for the first time.
Held on special visa-free economic zone of the Kish Island, the event will happen on February 20-22, 2014, and is part of the Kish Poultry & Livestock Exhibition as well as an international effort to promote VIV Europe 2014. The pavilion is a VIV initiative to provide a low-cost and direct access to its network of exhibitors and visitors in potential markets of a smaller scale.
VIV Expo Pavilion (Iran) is expected to draw 30 suppliers, 260 local exhibitors and 2,000 visitors to the exhibition.
Having no substitute for protein intake, Iran is currently considered to be a major producer of poultry meat and egg, with its huge market segregated from most of the global trade.
