JBS appoints Gustavo Kahl as president of operations in Argentina

Argentine Gustavo Kahl is appointed President of JBS operations in Argentina, replacing Artemio Listoni, who will return to Brazil to take up a role in the local beef business unit.
Before joining JBS, Gustavo, 47, held various leadership positions within Cargill, and most recently was responsible for grain origination. Before that, he worked for the beef Company Finexcor for 15 years in various capacities. Gustavo graduated as an industrial engineer from Instituto Tecnologico de Buenos Aires, with post graduate studies at ESADE Business School.
"Gustavo has excellent management skills and a deep knowledge of the Argentine beef industry. We are certain that he will continue the work that has been done in recent years, seeking to improve the performance of our activities in that country", said Jose Augusto de Carvalho Junior, president of JBS Mercosul.
