Beijing DQY Agriculture Technology signed an agreement with Mingguang City in Anhui Province, China, to invest in a base capable of raising seven million layer chicken in the next four years.
The products will be supplied to great economic rim of East China. After it is completed, the project will become the largest egg production and processing base in the world.
Beijing DQY Agriculture Technology has 24,000 ancestor-generation layers, 520,000 parent-generation layers and three million commodity layers. The Chuzhou project will cover 25 square kilometres while the group will have an inventory of 10 million layer chicken. After reaching the designed capacity, the project's annual output will reach 1.5 billion eggs, 40 million kilowatts of electricity and 500,000 tonnes of organic fertiliser.
