Waning demand holds China choline chloride market flat (week ended Sep 16, 2012)

Prices remained unchanged during the period in review.

Choline chloride producers were reluctant to reduce prices as crude oil market stayed firm, holding raw ingredients prices strong. Meanwhile, buyers relied on existing stocks and refrained from increasing inventories as aquaculture production entered its closing stage.

Unless costs of raw ingredients surge further, choline chloride prices are unlikely to rise with demand waning amid shrinking aqua feed consumption.
