USDA: Sales cancellation of 101,602 tonnes of corn to Taiwan

The US Department of Agriculture announced Friday (Sep 15) cancellation of 101,602 tonnes in private export sales of US corn that was to be delivered to Taiwan in the 2006/07 marketing year.

The corn marketing year began Sep 1.

US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales activity of 100,000 tonnes or more of corn made in the same day to the same destination by 3 pm EDT (1900 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA.
