Demand for vitamin D3 remained poor, compelling several producers to cut production. Nonetheless, supplies remained abundant due to excess capacity of the industry, driving prices lower amid strong competition.

Prices of vitamin D3 are set to stay weak as supply exceeds demand. Even though vitamin D3 usages may increase due to higher feed consumption after the Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, it is unlikely to be strong enough to perk up prices.
