Feed producers, who anticipated the demand for layer feed to weaken after Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, held back the procurement of calcium phosphate. Additionally, demand for the product from the hog market remained flat as piglet inventories stayed low. Producers of calcium phosphate were therefore compelled to lower prices.
 
Prices of calcium phosphate are seen stable to softer while demand remains subdued.
