Prices of vitamin raw ingredients stayed stable in China, as several producers halted production for maintenance. However, even as supplies were tight, dwindling aqua feed output, in conjunction with unimpressive livestock feed demand put a lid on the prices.

Sales of vitamin C are expected to be weak as the aquaculture season approaches its end. Moreover, hog inventories remained flat amid limited piglet production, hence curtailing the demand from the hog sector.
