JBS Foods appoints new CFO and communication director

JBS Foods has appointed Maxim Medvedovsky as its chief financial officer (CFO).
The executive reports directly to Gilberto Tomazoni, the CEO of JBS Foods.
With an extensive experience in corporate finance, Medvedovsky was first involved in investment banking for five years. He went on to spend 14 years at Oi Group where he held several leadership positions such as chief administrative officer, chief customer officer and head of retail.
Most recently, Medvedovsky acted as global CFO of Magnesita.
A graduate of PUC-RJ, Medvedovsky holds an MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and Fundação Dom Cabral.
In addition to Medvedovsky's appointment, JBS SA has made Wilson Mello as its communication and government relations director.
He will report to Wesley Batista, the global CEO of JBS.
With more than two decades of experience in the legal sector, Mello has worked in large corporations such as Wal-Mart Brazil, where, for four years, he was responsible for corporate affairs. He acted as vice-president of corporate affairs at BRF during 2010 - 2013.
Mello is law graduate from PUC-SP.
