Domestic and Export Prices of China's Feed-Grade Vitamin B12 Stable

Prices of feed-grade vitamin B12 in China have been stable recently. As at September 16, quotations issued by producers for locally produced high performance liquid vitamin B12 (1%) hover at RMB330/kg, while those for locally produced powder vitamin B12 (0.6%) stand at RMB180/kg, and powder vitamin B12 (0.8%) at RMB230/kg. Generally, transacted prices were the same as those quoted.  

For the export markets, transacted prices of China's locally produced high performance liquid vitamin B12 (1%) hover at US$35/kg, while quotations for powder vitamin B12 (0.6%) range between US$19-20/kg.

The number of Chinese vitamin B12 producers is on the rise in recent years, causing market prices to tread a downward trend. However, with their good quality products and established export networks, sales of the bigger producers has stayed relatively stable.
