Imported chicken consumption rockets in Vietnam

Imported chicken has a higher consumption rate in Vietnam due to lower prices.

According to some poultry firms, the price of domestic chicken remains high, while the consumption drops sharply.

At present, the price of imported chicken ranges between VND23,000 (US$1.18) and VND24,000 (US$1.27) per kilo and the selling price is VND27,000 (US$1.39) per kilo.
