US to cut anti-dumping duty on Vietnamese shrimp exports
                              


US Department of Commerce (DOC) has made a final decision to cut anti-dumping duty for Vietnamese firms exporting frozen shrimp to the US within one year, according to media reports.

 

Reports stated that three compulsory defendants of Minh Phu Seafood Joint Stock Company (MPC), Ca Mau 4 Seafood Enterprise (Camimex), and Phuong Nam Co. Ltd will get highest tax reduction.

 

According to the final review on the anti-dumping suit against Vietnamese frozen shrimp, a tax rate for MPC will be slashed to 0.43 percent from previous 66 percent; Camimex 0.08 percent from 19.8 percent; and Phuong Nam 0.21 percent from 5.6 percent.

 

The others, meanwhile, will be subject to tax rates of 4.57 percent and 25.76 percent.
