Russia harvests 75 million tonnes grain to Sept 14
Russia harvested 74.8 million tonnes of grain to September 14, which is 22-percent less on the year, the Agriculture Ministry reported Monday.
The average yield to date was 2.48 tonnes a hectare, 4.6-percent less than a year earlier.
The ministry expects this year's harvest to be 85 million tonnes, compared with 108.1 million tonnes in 2008.
