Vietnam's Hanoi to build eight more slaughter houses

 
 

Hanoi City has worked out a plan to build eight more cattle and poultry slaughter houses to meet increasing local demand for fresh meat, said Nguyen Huy Tuong, vice chairman of the city's People's Committee.

 

The cattle and poultry houses will be built in suburban districts of Gia Lam, Phuc Tho, Thuong Tin, and Soc Son, Tuong. Hanoi currently needs 500-600 tonnes of fresh meat daily.

 

However, the vice chairman did not mention total investments for the construction.
