Increased cost, firm demand perk up China choline chloride prices

Prices moved higher over the past weeks.

Demand for choline chloride strengthened as feed millers stockpiled inventories in preparation for pre-festive orders. Hence, producers lifted prices while the costs of trimethylamine moved higher.

Prices of 60-percent content choline chloride rose to the range of RMB5,330-5,480/tonne and RMB5,030-5,230/tonne in Shandong and  Hebei respectively.

China's choline chloride demand is expected to stay strong in the coming period.
