Five to ten percent increase seen in Ukraine dairy prices
Ukrainian Agribusiness Club expert Inna Illienko says experts predict a price on dairy products by 5-10% by the end of this year.
She said that there will be a trend towards a rise in prices this year, but it will be smaller than last year as the average rise in prices for basic social goods was 14.5%, but the trend is expected to reach 5-10% by the end of the year.
Anatoliy Rozgon, Deputy Director of the Department for Economic Development and Agricultural Markets at the Ukrainian Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry noted that a 7-8% maximum rise in prices for dairy products could be reached.
