Increased supply from a Chinese producer weigh on locally produced vitamin A prices in China

As DSM China Ltd. has recently raised its ex-factory quotes of vitamin A, prices of imported vitamin A in China have risen significantly. However, amid a relatively strong wait-and-see attitude by buyers, trade of locally produced vitamin A remained regular.
Meanwhile, a significant quantity of vitamin A products manufactured in Xinchang, Zhejiang province, were released into the domestic market. This weighed on prices of locally produced vitamin A in China, with prices even moving lower in some regions.
