Taiwan Sugar Buys 35,000 MT US No.2 Corn From Cargill
State-owned Taiwan Sugar Corp. bought 35,000 metric tons of U.S. No. 2 corn from trading house Cargill in a buy tender concluded Friday, a Taipei-based trader who received the tender result said.
Taiwan Sugar bought one cargo at $163.95 a ton, cost and freight to Taiwan. The shipment date is set between Sept. 18-Oct. 2 from the U.S. Gulf, or between Oct. 3-17 from the Pacific Northwest, said the trader.
