Viet Nam's H1 2013 fish imports down 11.5%
 

 

During the first half of 2013, Viet Nam's fish imports were worth US$348,786,626, down 11.5% on-year, according to figures from Vietnam Association of Seafoods Export Processors (VASEP).

 

The majority of fish came from India at a value of US$49,339,391, accounting for around 14.2%, with the main products being shrimp.

 

Viet Nam's tuna import from Taiwan accounted for 11.4% and had a value of US$39,718,440.

 

The US ranked fifth on Viet Nam's import list with a value of US$17,575,912, while the UK came in 15th at US$5,697,410.
