China Methionine Weekly: Market quiet; prices stay weak (week ended Sep 9, 2012)
China's methionine market remained quiet as buyers limited purchases even though poultry inventories were on the rise. Hence, suppliers kept prices low in efforts to clear inventories. In Europe, price quotes for Q3 deliveries were in the range of EUR3.12-3.17/kg.
