USDA opens new US$5.2 million poultry research facility
The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) said it has opened a new US$5.2 million facility for state-of-the-art poultry research.
USDA scientists would use the facility to conduct research on poultry nutrition, growth regulation and reproduction.
In addition, the facility was designed mainly to house chickens and turkeys for poultry research conducted by the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center and the Biotechnology and Germplasm Laboratory.
