Argentina's July soy industry stocks down 1.3 percent from year ago
Argentina's soybean industry stocks totalled 3,107,364 tonnes as of Aug 1, according to the Agriculture Secretariat.
That puts stocks down 1.3 percent from the same month in 2005, when they totalled 3,149,417 tonnes.
Soyoil stocks totalled 260,935 tonnes as of Aug 1, down 10.7 percent from the 292,230 tonnes in stock the previous year.
Stocks of soy pellets amounted to 754,734 tonnes, down 11.2 percent from 849,847 tonnes a year ago.
Argentina produced a record 41.3 million tonnes of soy in 2005/06, compared with 39 million a year earlier, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
Argentina is the world's leading soyoil and soymeal exporter.
