Tight supply lifts China lysine prices
Lysine continued to rise during the week ending September 9.
Several producers continued to halt production or limit output amid shortages of raw ingredients in China, tightening supplies further during the period in review. Meanwhile, the demand for feed and hence lysine remained firm as livestock producers continue to fatten animals before releases before October's long holidays.
Average transacted price increased by RMB0.40/kg to RMB9.72/kg.
