Prices for Azerbaijan's agricultural products rise 0.8% in August 2013
 

 

Prices  for Azerbaijan's agricultural products, which include live animal and animal breeding products, have increased by 0.8% in August 2013, compared to the previous month.

 

According to State Statistics Committee, animal-breeding products rose by 2.3%. Meanwhile, annual and perennial plants decreased by 0.7% and 0.4%, respectively.

 

Producer prices of wheat from annual plants surged 0.8%. Corn rose by 0.2%, barley by 2.5%, cucumber by 2.3%, and dry grass by 5.6%.

 

Azerbaijan's beef prices from animals and animal-breeding products have increased by 0.7%. Milk rose by 0.6%, live sheep and goats by 0.5%, live poultry by 2.1%, and egg by 34.4%. Along with this increase, producer prices of cow decreased by 0.3%, buffalo by 0.6%, and fowl-flesh by 1.5%.
