SingBridge to build food processing plants in China
 

 

SingBridge has signed an agreement to set up food processing plant in the Jilin province of China.

 

As a part of the agreement, SingBridge will set up infrastructure, agriculture, food processing and manufacturing, and agriculture and food technology in the food zone.

 

The food zone spans 1,450 square kilometres with a core area of 57 square kilometres. Currently, three square kilometres of the core area has been developed by the Jilin City Government.

 

The Singapore's Ministry of National Development said the country's private sector has taken the lead to drive this project and several companies have successfully negotiated commercial deals at the food zone.

 

In addition to Singbridge, several companies entered into an agreement to establish infrastructure in the food zone including integrated pig farm, logistics park, and core area.
