China think tank cuts 2007 soybean output forecast, corn unchanged
The China National Grain and Oils Information Centre Monday (Sep 10) said the country's soybean output is estimated to total 14.4 million tonnes in 2007, 400,000 tonnes less than its forecast a month earlier.
State-backed CNGOIC kept its corn output forecast for the year unchanged at 149 million tonnes in its September report, and raised its rice production forecast to 186.5 million tonnes, up 620,000 tonnes from its estimate a month earlier.
