China methionine prices surge 30% in two weeks
Prices of methionine surged further during the week ending September 9.
Several traders halted price releases with limited stocks to offer while feed millers withheld procurements despite low inventories as prices surged almost 30% over the past two weeks.
Liquid methionine quotes in the general market increased to RMB27.50-29.50/kg.
