Novus limits export shipments in wake of Hurricane Katrina

Novus International Inc. said it would limit export shipments of its Alimet methionine product to half the contracted volume in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

The hurricane had recently affected production due to a shortfall in supply of raw materials, difficulties in arranging prompt export shipments, in addition to disruption to supporting infrastructure.
