China's methionine imports fall in July
China's methionine imports registered 4,687.175 tonnes in July, down by 5,417.645 tonnes from June.
Average import price in July was US$3.64/kg, lower by US$0.36/kg compared with the previous month.
Japan (2,242.175 tonnes), Belgium (1,460 tonnes) and the US (580 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during July.
