EU gives 46,079 tonnes intervention wheat export licenses

 

 

The European Union Thursday (Sep 7) granted licenses to export 46,079 tonnes of wheat and 104,658 tonnes of barley from intervention stores, EU figures show.

 

The intervention wheat licenses were all for Hungary at EUR120.85/tonne. The barley licenses consisted of 55,000 tonnes from Finland at EUR95.72/tonne and 49,658 tonnes for Lithuania at EUR95.01/tonne.

 

Bids to export barley out of Poland were rejected. All bids to export rye out of Germany were also rejected.
