EU intervention resale tender: 44,845 tonnes corn granted

A total 44,845 tonnes of corn was granted at Thursday's (Sep 7) European Union intervention resale tender, EU figures show.

This included 21,463 tonnes from Hungary at EUR105.00 a tonne; 23,382 tonnes from Slovakia at EUR107.07/tonne.

The intervention grain granted is for use on the internal market only and can't be granted below domestic or intervention prices.
