Fuji Oil Establishes Soybean Peptide Production Plant In China
Fuji Oil has announced that it has set up new company Tianjin Fuji Protein in Tianjin, China.
Capitalized at $12 million, Fuji Oil owns 95% of the new company and 5% by Itochu's Chinese subsidiary.
Tianjin Fuji Protein will invest a total of 30 million to construct a new soybean peptide production plant. The plant will be located on a 56,000 square metre site in the Chinese city's industrial park adjacent to the port of Tianjin.
The plant will have an annual production capacity of 3,000 tons. The first phase of the construction will be completed in April 2005.
