Cargill, Risoil to build grain terminal by 2014

 
 

Cargill has announced its intentions to build a grain terminal, with the Risoil group of companies, at the Illichivsk merchant seaport (Odesa region) by 2014.

 

A protocol of intentions has been signed regarding the possibility of creating an enterprise at the cargo port in the town of Illichivsk. The aim is the construction of a grain terminal on the territory of the port. Both companies aim to commission the terminal in 2013.

 

Risoil is a private group of companies that engages in food processing, agricultural goods trading, transportation and logistics in six countries. It began operation on the Ukrainian market in 2000.

 

Earlier, the Cargill A. T. grain trading company (Kyiv) ended 2009 with a net profit of UAH 568.257 million (US$71.84 million).

 

Cargill engages in production and supply of food products and agricultural goods, as well as in financial services provision.
