Delacon appoints new regional manager for western Europe

Delacon has announced the appointment of Stephane Jolain as Regional Manager Western Europe. Jolain will start his activities from Sep 3, 2007, at Delacon's new western European regional office in Albi, France.

 

After graduating in Agronomic Engineering at the French Ecole Nationale Superieure Agronomique, Jolain pursued a career in sales and business development in the French feed industry. He was ultimately responsible for international business development in the French feed additives company Phode.

 

Regional Manager Western Europe is responsible for business development, sales and technical sales support in a region including France, Spain, Portugal, the Benelux countries, the British Isles, Scandinavian countries as well as Italy.

 

Delacon sees western Europe as one of the key focus market regions for natural feed additives, having a strong, healthy animal husbandry industry. Furthermore, the EU's prohibition of antibiotic growth promoters in 2006 is demanding new, innovative solutions to improve animal health and performance, with phytogenic feed additives being one of the most promising alternatives, the company said.
