China's Want Want to receive dairy machineries from Oystar

Chinese firm, Want Want, will receive three dairy machineries from German packaging machine supplier, Oystar, in accordance to an agreement between both parties.

Under the agreement, in June 2013, Oystar will deliver two EF 320 form, fill and seal dairy machines to Shanghai, each of which will then produce 20,000 yoghurt cups per hour at the Want Want site there. In July 2013, the company will deliver a Flexline FL 8/8 CA, which will fill and seal 115-millitres cups with pudding.

Oystar CEO, Markus Ehl, said that after a very good first quarter, this key order continues the company's success in the 2012 financial year.

"The machines for Want Want are OYSTAR's biggest single order from China so far and represent a further step along our path of growth in the packaging business," Ehl added.

Want Want is the leading manufacturer of rice cracks in the world and of flavoured milk in China. The company generated a total of US$3 billion in sales in 2011.
