Slack demand holds China sulphate additives prices flat
 
 
Prices were unchanged over the past few weeks.
 
Cupric sulphate market was stable during the period in review. Even after the recent price reduction, feed millers remained cautious and limited procurements as hog inventories grew slowly.
 
Zinc sulphate producers held prices low as output costs continued to fall. Currently, several smaller producers have halted production although the larger ones maintained output. 
 
Prices of manganese sulphate were stable amid improved demand. Meanwhile, output costs increased as higher demand from the steel industry drove up the prices of manganese.
 
Weak titanium dioxide prices helped to keep ferrous sulphate production costs low. Producers of ferrous sulphate willingly negotiated prices for long-term customers as buyers continued to withhold purchases.
