Indonesia buys 20,000 tonnes of Thai corn

Indonesia will import 20,000 tonnes of corn from Thailand for late September shipment but more deals are unlikely as Thai exporters had increased offer prices, traders said on Tuesday (September 4).

One trader said Indonesia's own harvest nearing has hampered Indonesian traders' interest in buying additional Thai corn. However, this could change if Thailand reduces offer prices.
