Weak China lysine market shows signs of stabilising

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending September 3.

Although several smaller producers continued to reduce prices, large manufacturers have started to increase price quotes amid low inventory pressure.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB9.55-10/kg.

Demand for lysine is expected to rise as the livestock industry prepares for the pre-festive releases during September.

RMB1=US$0.1633 (Sep 4)
