Iran opens its top dairy factory

Iran's First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi has inaugurated the country's leading dairy factory.

The factory, financed with a EUR 37 million loan from Iran's Bank of Agriculture, has a daily production capacity of 1,000 tonnes.

The factory, with the latest pasteurization and sterilization technology, would offer employment to 2,000 people.

The 40,000 square metre complex, built in 22 hectares of land, would produce various sterilized and pasteurized dairy products including long-lasting milk in three-layer packages.
