Brazil's broiler production cost down 2.8% in July
Brazil's production cost of broilers was down 2.8% in July, reaching 147.75 points.
The decline was driven by variations in two groups of inputs: nutrition which dropped 2.09% and day-old chicks which was down 1.01%.
During January to July of 2013, production cost of broilers decreased 17.24% mainly due to the decrease in spending on poultry feed, which was down 16.24%.
