Ukraine exports two million tonnes grains
Since the start of July 2010, Ukraine has exported two million tonnes of grains, declared Nikolay Prysiaghniuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, on August 31.
According to Prysiaghniuk, the Ministry supports grain export trading, plans that Ukrainian grain traders keep own positions on the foreign markets, and agricultural producers receive money resources for providing the autumn sowing campaign.
Prysiaghniuk noted that to date, the government denied from imposition of the quotas for grain exports. The current grain production and carry-over stocks in Ukraine allowed providing grain export trading. If the export trading becomes intensive, and supply and demand balances of barley, corn, feed wheat lower to the critical index, the government will return to examination of the issue of grain quotas imposition, the minister explained.
