Cargill Limited closing doors of case ready facility

Cargill Limited will be closing its Toronto, Ontario case ready facility in the spring of 2011.

Cargill's other case ready operations in Calgary, Alberta and Chambly, Québec will remain unaffected by the change.

This is part of the company's strategic realignment and optimisation of its further processing capacity and service delivery for its Canadian customers. Cargill's other further processing operation in Guelph, Ontario will benefit with an expansion, enhanced processing and packaging capabilities, resulting in up to 200 new jobs for the local community.
