Iran to help set up slaughterhouse in Pakistan
A new state-of-the art slaughterhouse construction is planned for Lahore, the capital city of Pakistani province, Punjab, with the aid of Iranian experts.
According to a media report, Lahore Commissioner Khusro Pervaiz said that the Punjab government will establish the slaughterhouse with the assistance of Iran.
Pervais further stated that Iran has progressed in the field of livestock and that Lahore should get help from Iranian experts to improve and develop the livestock sector according to international standards.
An Iranian delegation has met with the commissioner in order to hold talks about the project.
