Kazakhstan's H1 2012 cattle number up 14.6%
The number of cattle in agricultural formations of Kazakhstan increased by 14.6% in the first half of 2012.
In addition, the number of horses increased by 5%, sheep and goats by 1%, camels by 2.8% and birds by 2.5%.
Under "Sybaga" programme on crediting of agricultural farms, Kazakhstan farmers purchased more than 39,000 of breeding stock and 2,205 bulls.
