Japan seeks 113,000 tonnes wheat in tender
Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries is seeking 113,000 tonnes of wheat in a tender to be concluded Thursday (Aug 29), an agriculture ministry official said Tuesday.
The ministry is also seeking 4,000 tonnes of Canada-origin barley and 9,000 tonnes of Australia-origin barley as part of the same tender.
The entire shipment of wheat and barley is expected to arrive between Oct 1-31.
