Irish dairy association wants ban on Brazilian beef imports


 

The Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association (ICMSA) has sought a government ban on Brazilian beef imports, until Brazil's FMD, or foot-and mouth disease issue was fully resolved.

 

ICMSA said the US and Australia already implemented such bans and the government needed to follow the move in order to keep Irish beef consumers safe.
