China lysine prices consolidate lower
Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending August 28.
Most producers stood firm of late in view of stronger demands ahead due to high releases during September’s holidays. Nonetheless, a handful of producers continued to offer discounts in efforts to clear excess stocks.
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine dipped further to the range of RMB9.45-10/kg.
The strengthening of the soymeal prices will lend some support to the lysine market.
