Bangladesh vaccinates 300,000 poultry after floods

Bangladesh's Department of Livestock in Gaibandha has vaccinated an estimated 343,000 chickens and ducks under its post-flood rehabilitation programme.

The vaccination programme is a part of the Department's measures to protect poultry birds from diseases, such as fowl pox, foul cholera and duck plague after flooding.
