German dairy prices seen to increase anew in September

German consumers will face another increase in dairy product prices next month as dairy farms try to cope with rising demand and higher energy prices, according to German dairy industry association MIV.

MIV director Eckard Heuser said dairy prices are set to rise by 1 to 1.5 euros per kilogramme.

The price increases come as dairies are set to renew their delivery contracts with retailers on September 1, it said.
