Argentina Aug 1 soy stocks up 8 percent

 

 

Argentina's oilseed industry held soybean stocks totalling 3,541,204 tonnes as of August 1, according to the Agriculture Secretariat's latest data.

 

That puts stocks up 8 percent from the year-earlier period, when they totalled 3,270,644 tonnes.

 

Soyoil stocks totalled 233,047 tonnes as of August 1, down from 249,635 tonnes in stock at the same date last year.

 

Stocks of soy pellets totalled 707,038 tonnes, down from 710,522 tonnes a year ago.

 

Argentina is the world's leading soyoil and soymeal exporter. It follows the US and Brazil in soybean exports.
